Jono Reduker, Director of Interactive Design
Jono brings 20+ years of multimedia and web experience to the table, having served as Director of Creative and/or Design at Caribiner International, iXL, Larry Miller and Convergent Media Systems. His award-winning work has been featured in The New York Times “Top Designers Are Drawn to the Web” and other industry publications. Jono’s career began in the entertainment industry, where he helped launch some of the first feature film web sites, including Madonna’s Evita and Stallone’s Judge Dredd. In fashion, Jono developed and launched the Claudia Schiffer and Estella Warren sites. And in music, he launched Planet Rock, the first official web site for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and one of the first sites to deliver streaming music.
Jono’s forté is getting beyond the client’s agenda and bringing the voice of the customer or end user to the forefront of discovery and planning – all of which culminates in superlative experiences and measurable results on the Web. Jono has designed sites for many other industries with clients including Scudder, Fidelity, The American Musical Theatre and Harvard University. Jono was a Physics major for three years at UCC and moved on to receive a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art.
Highlights of Jono’s Career:
- Re-launched the Henry Repeating Arms company web site five years ago at approximately 15,000 unique visits/month and traffic has increased to over 250,000+ visits/month.
- Developed celebrity web sites for Claudia Schiffer, Michael Jordan and Estella Warren.
- Pioneered feature film web site development with some of Hollywood’s first movie sites – Evita (Madonna) and Judge Dredd (Stallone)
- Designed innovative user interfaces for financial services clients Scudder.com and Fidelity’s Charitable Gift Fund.
- Brought to market The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s first web site, Planet Rock, which was also one of the first sites to deliverstreaming music.
- Featured with Roger Black in The New York
- Architected and oversaw the launch of several Web 2.0-enabled sites for Harvard University including blogs, forums, Twitter integration and Facebook feeds.
