Vibram, the worldwide leader in high-performance soles, invited Tomlinson to help launch FiveFingers footwear. These unique shoes with five individually wrapped toes provide outdoor enthusiasts and runners with the benefits of going barefoot, plus the protection and grip of a Vibram® sole. We helped create a distinctive brand look and personality for this offbeat, unconventional footwear that recently skyrocketed to $70 million in sales.

Javaccino Coffee Latte asked us to help introduce a new line of coffee drinks that would go head-to-head with Starbucks Frappuccino. Their goal was to position Javaccino as the best organic/fair trade coffee product available, made with only the finest ingredients. We created the positioning line: Javaccino. Coffee. Only Cooler. and developed packaging designs that visually position the brand as a wholesome, refreshing, inspirational, authentic coffee drink for today.

Texture Technologies enjoys a strong position within a niche industry – i.e. measurement of physical parameters of products. TT experienced intense competition in the last year and its positioning suffered. To address this issue and to improve the overall effectiveness of the website they asked Tomlinson to help. We redefine the IA, incorporated usability best practices, conducted keyword discovery, and defined the environment for performance testing. We’ve taken Texture Technologies to the next level of its online presence and Internet marketing effectiveness. Qualified Organic Search has grown 3 fold in less than 3 months.

Carpet One & Liz Claiborne Home. Tomlinson has a long-term partnership with Carpet One: the flagship brand in the CCA Global family. Over the years, we have solved a series of B2B challenges and created extensive marketing, merchandising and sales programs, including the launch of Liz Claiborne Home. Our approach was specifically designed catch the eye of their fashion-focused audience.

Dermatology Partners. To reposition Dermatology Partners as the premiere cosmetic and medical dermatology practice in the Boston metropolitan region, we created a new logo/identity, web site and brochure. The design incorporates fresh, contemporary colors that communicate the concept of rejuvenation. The copy positions the partnership as patient-focused, offering a highly personalized level of customer service by skilled doctors that are artists when it comes to the latest cosmetic procedures.

Earth Footwear chose Tomlinson to help execute an integrated brand marketing strategy to communicate the benefit and heritage of Earth’s negative heel technology. We designed tradeshow graphics, advertising, catalogs, sales kits that resulted in an increase in sales from $2M to $10M in two years.

Ballotin. Reminiscent of a European chocolate boutique and cafe, Ballotin’s goal was to establish itself as a premier New England retail purveyor of fine artisan chocolates from around the world. Tomlinson was selected to create a brand identity and integrated marketing program, including stationery, packaging, web site and print advertising that reflect the retailer’s serious passion for chocolate.
